Sony recently launched the much anticipated Sony A7R III, a 42.4 Mega Pixel full frame camera sporting ten frames per second and 4K video capabilities. The camera has the Sony E-mount with an Exmor R CMOS sensor taking still images with an ISO range of 100-32,000 expandable to 50-102,400. It features a Fast Hybrid AF system utilizing 399 “focal plane phase detection AF” and 425 point contrast-detection AF. For video the system can do 4k at 30p 100m and Full HD 1080p at 120fps.
Sony invited several YouTubers and bloggers out for their demonstration. Each attendee was given a factory model for presentation purposes and invited to shoot each of the stations where Sony had placed light kits and hired models and dancers to demonstrate the camera’s capabilities.
