The Gulf Coast has a rich heritage when it comes to the arts. For almost half a decade Elaine Stevens worked with WKFK Channel 7 to showcase the arts on their station. Art Beat episodes consisted of Elaine visiting with artists at their home, studio, or exhibitions and would discuss several of the pieces along with their techniques. Guests included children of Walter Anderson, veterans, photographers, and gallery owners.
